Immediately after graduating from WKU, Russ began building his extensive resume in the industry by joining Aetna Life and Casualty as a Commercial Property and Casualty Underwriter. After several years of extensive training and hands on experience as a Marketing Rep. for Hanover Insurance Company he moved to a Workers Compensation carrier as the General Manager for the Kentucky and So. Indiana region. In 1991, he joined the independent agency side of the business. He spent 20 plus years in sales production, management and training working on medium to large commercial clients. In 2012, along with his son-in-law, Eric Harden he joined Insuramax and now serves as President of our agency and a Shareholder in Insuramax.
Russ is very active in his church, Christ Church United Methodist, currently serving on the Finance Committee and serves on several boards including Wesley Manor where he currently is President of the Board. Russ and his wife Gina are the proud Grandparents of seven Grandchildren. Russ enjoys running/walking and playing golf but his favorite hobby is spending time with his Grandchildren and spoiling them as much as possible!
