Eric started his career in insurance as an intern while attending the University of Kentucky. Before graduating from UK in 2005 with a B.A. in Marketing & Management, he obtained his Property & Casualty license during the summer of 2004. Eric has over 18 years of experience in the insurance industry. Eric is currently the Vice President of Commercial Lines and a partner at Insuramax. Eric’s expertise is to help your business identify your key business exposures, design an insurance and risk management program that meets your business objectives, and proactively works with you to ensure your program is the best it can be while containing your costs. He served on the 2016-17 Executive Board of the Independent Insurance Agents of Kentucky (IIAK), where he served on the Events Committee and Membership Committee. Eric was appointed as the 2017 Emerging Leaders Chairman for IIAK and will continue to be involved in this important group as they are the future leaders of our industry. Eric also serves as a committee member for the annual Ronald McDonald House Charity of Kentuckiana Golf outing, an active volunteer at Holy Trinity Parish School where his 3 children attend school, and an executive board member for Wesley Manor Retirement Community. Eric enjoys playing golf, tennis, soccer, running, hiking and spending time with his wife Lindsay and their three children Harper, Molly Frances, and Wells.
